Tim Moriarty

Tim is the author of the Drowntown trilogy of YA fantasy adventures. The first in the trilogy, Drowntown Girl, explores what could happen if a lonely teenager — desperate for popularity at school — uses his computer skills to open an ancient book of dark magic spells. What happens is: the boy is possessed by a demon, and an innocent bystander, Chloe, is flung into the mysterious world between earth and eternity: a drowned New York City, a canal city of pirates, slavemasters and unholy monsters. While Chloe is running for her life, it is up to her friend, Maya, to help bring her home, while also passing algebra.

Tim is the former managing editor of Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Chocolatier Magazine and many others in the fields of food, wine, chocolate, pastry, health and fitness. He is the author of several other novels, including Vampire Nights (Pinnacle Books) and The Geezer Elite.
